Plumbers Local 24 has been in existence for over 105 years. Almost everywhere you look in Essex, Union or Somerset Counties you will see the work of Local 24.

Plubers Local 24 also oversees parts of Morris, Hunterdon, Warren, Hudson and Middlesex Counties.

Some of our Landmark Projects include Newark International Airport, New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark, Jersey Gardens Mall in Elizabeth, as well as various malls; Short Hills, Bridgewater and Livingston.

We work directly with the School Boards in Newark and Elizabeth, as well as the Housing Authority of Newark. Day care centers, assisted living senior citizen residences and schools of all shapes and sizes have been built by the members and contractors from Local 24.

New Jersey's health-care facilities which provide the highest level of care to all residents have been built, renovated and maintained by Local 24's skilled members. Warren Hospital, Somerset Medical Center, Hunterdon Medical Center, Elizabeth General, Overlook Hospital, Union Memorial, Newark's Beth Israel, Clara Mass, Saint Barnabas, Saint Michael's as well as the University of Medicine and Dentistry have all had a long history of demanding and receiving the very best plumbing services from our members.

In the research and development of the health care industry there are also many pharmaceutical plants throughout the Local 24 area: Novartis, Ortho and Schering in Kenilworth and Union; Ethicon, Upjohn, Hoffman-LaRoche and Hoesct Marrion Rousell facilities; Merck in Rahway as well as its world headquarters in Readington.

The quality of New Jersey citizens' lives is also affected by the creation of numerous water and sewage treatment plants, telecommunication facilities, restaurants, housings, entertainment and hotel chains throughout the state.

It's easy to see why they say . . . "Plumbers Protect the Health of the Community".
